Expansion adding up for North West accountancy firm

A Manchester accountancy firm is expanding at home and abroad.

TR Forensic Accountants, based in St Mary’s Parsonage, has opened operations in Asia and the Middle East and is continuing its successful growth by creating jobs in Manchester.

The firm now employs 30 staff in Oman and Pakistan and is set to add a further new hires in its base city, including executive, admin staff and accountants level.

Founder and CEO Tanzeel Rehman, who is originally from Pakistan, said he was looking forward to another few months of growth.

“I’m very proud to see my company grow in the way it has. I feel like it is an amazing accomplishment.

“Going global is not an easy task for any business, so what we’ve done so far in just two years is fantastic.”

He added: “Employing more people in Pakistan and Oman has not only given more opportunities to people in these regions, but also benefited local economies especially where I was born.

“Expanding our team in Manchester aligns with our strategic growth plans and underscores our commitment to further enhancing our presence in the region.”

The accountancy firm, established in May 2022, handles a wide range of accounting services with a focus on specialist forensic accounting such as expert witness report writing for legal practices undertaking civil cases.

A year after the launch, TR Forensic Accountants signed 17 clients, but now that number has increased to 56.

Mr Rehman said: “My journey so far hasn’t been easy but I’m very proud of what we’ve achieved in such a short time. I’m looking forward to the future of the company and continuing this exciting journey.
