Estate and letting agent disruptor launches with plans to on-board 5,000 properties

A New Stockport-based estate and letting agent disruptor, Property Sense, has launched with an ambitious five-year business plan.

The new agency enables sellers to list their homes without paying a penny, and homeowners also stand to make money with the new estate and letting agent’s pioneering pricing structures, it said.

It launches as the UK’s first and only estate agent that will pay homeowners to sell their home and offer fully-funded property maintenance and repairs with guaranteed rent, it added.

The company will take care of home sales, lettings, and property management with some industry-first estate agent products available, including an account manager to support customers through the process from start to finish.

It also offers its landlord customers property management packages that include fully-funded property maintenance and repairs, it said.

General manager, Alex Cunningham, said: “It’s mind boggling to us that the process for buying and selling properties in the UK has not changed in some 200+ years. That’s insane. Especially when considering how stressful and costly the journey is.

“Today marks the first day of the UK estate and letting agency industry doing things differently and to the benefit of sellers – and it’s well overdue.”

Property Sense is based on Exchange Street in Stockport.

Its five-year plan aims to on-board 5,000 properties onto its managed services and capture a commanding 70% market share of new online sales instructions.

It says it can boast a combined 30-years’ knowledge base in the industry.
