Prestigious new office space launched following £1.2m Orange Tower refurb

MediaCity Asset Manager Tim Wyer in 10th floor Orange Tower

MediaCity has created one of the largest fully fitted office spaces outside London in Orange Tower, after a £1.2m investment to refurbish its 16,040 sq ft, 10th floor.

The new-look contemporary space, potentially accommodating up to 180 staff, is within MediaCity’s most high profile office development which is already home to global brands ITV, Kellogg’s, law firm Horwich Farrelly and The University of Salford.

Floor to ceiling windows embrace stunning views across the creative, tech and digital destination, while exposed ceilings maximise the natural light throughout the airy space.

It also includes two boardrooms, six group meeting rooms, eight 1-2-1 areas, as well as collaboration zones.

Stephen Kirk, Head of Asset Management, said: “This major investment has delivered a stunning, high quality and sustainable office space which is unrivalled in terms of size and scale in the North West and beyond.

“This location would appeal to any organisation wanting to base their team within an inspiring destination which offers great facilities and access to world class creative, tech and digital talent.”

The 10th floor was designed by architects Chapman and Taylor with Consensus Workspace refurbishing the space.

Andy Plastow, Managing Director at Consensus, said: “Having worked with the team previously, we understand the ambitious vision the team has and enjoyed collaborating with all project partners to help bring this to life.

“Together we have achieved a first class office space which perfectly combines inspiring design with functionality and sustainability, to deliver a workplace community that promotes creativity, community and collaboration, and which will ultimately support MediaCity in its continuing success.”
