Edmond de Rothschild Real Estate Investment Management (REIM) has expanded its UK residential platform by adding 765 rental units with new build-to-rent developments in Birmingham and Warrington.

In Birmingham’s Southside District, the first phase of The Bath House has delivered 406 apartments across four blocks.

The development features a reception lounge, work-from-home space, gym, yoga studio, gaming room and a courtyard with a resident’s hub.

In Warrington, The Steelworks, located opposite Warrington Central Station, offers 359 rental apartments around landscaped courtyards.

The development includes amenities such as a sky lounge, work-from-home space, and a private kitchen/dining area.

It is part of a larger £190m regeneration project for the Warrington Central station area.

Both projects target mid-market renters, with affordable rents, managed by Edmond de Rothschild REIM UK’s private rental sector platform. These developments focus on regenerating brownfield sites and comply with sustainable building standards.

In the UK, Edmond de Rothschild REIM focuses on the private rented sector (PRS), aiming to provide affordable, sustainable housing while also investing in social and affordable housing sectors.

Dhananjai (“DJ”), CIO (UK) at Edmond de Rothschild REIM, said: “The two assets deliver high-quality residential stock in our preferred regeneration areas across the UK at rents that are affordable locally. The Steelworks is viewed as a pillar in the redevelopment of Station Quarter in Warrington, with the Bath House identified as a flagship development critical to the regeneration of Southside Quarter in Birmingham. A combination of location and provision of amenities fit for the local market has already resulted in very strong demand, a testimony to our strategy of delivering new build high-quality rental accommodation in regional markets offering a yield advantage”.
