Housebuilder moves home to provide further room for expansion

North West housebuilder, Northstone, has relocated from Salford’s MediaCity to a larger office space, marking a further milestone in the company’s growth strategy.

The new office, at Peel Waters’ Venus building in TraffordCity, will accommodate the existing team and provide for expansion with an environment conducive to innovation and collaboration as Northstone continues to scale operations and meet the continuing demand for new homes across all tenures across the region.

The move into nearly 6,000 sq foot of office space will not only allow for future expansion but it also gives the company its own front door with dedicated space easily accessible to all areas across the North West.

Occupying the ground floor at Venus and with a predominately open plan layout and dedicated meeting rooms, the offices have benefited from a rapid Northstone team modernisation internally and the creation of a new reception space and breakout areas for the team to collaborate and work with its advisors, consultants and customers.

Chief executive, Phil Wilson, said: “This move marks a further exciting stage for Northstone as we head into 2025 with our continuing bold ambitions and strategic plans for growth and expansion.

“Our focus is now on more land acquisition and establishing new partnerships to create further new neighborhoods where we can integrate into existing communities.”

He added: “We’re making great headway with some exciting announcements to be made soon.

“We’ve enjoyed a continued success in recent years with our sustainable modern house designs and new communities winning coveted awards across the region, but as some of our schemes reach completion, we are now entering a new chapter of further growth which will see us bolster our portfolio of land whilst also building increased confidence with stakeholders and investors alike as we look to expand our offer further into the market.”

Northstone relocating to Venus means there is now only one available space left within the Grade-A office building at TraffordCity.

James Whittaker, Managing Director of Peel Waters, said: “Northstone choosing to relocate their headquarters to our Venus office building in TraffordCity is really exciting for us, as not only are we welcoming another innovative business to our tenant mix, but it also marks full occupancy of another floor within our building.

“Northstone’s attention to detail and design has been reflected in the quality of their office fit-out.”
