Asset manager appointed to key north Manchester industrial estate

Stakehill Industrial Estate

Manchester-based commercial and real estate group, IDRE, has been selected by Triton Property Fund to take over the asset management of Stakehill Industrial Estate, from January 1, 2025.

Located in North Manchester, Stakehill Industrial Estate is a prime industrial location offering excellent access to key transportation networks, including Manchester and Leeds.

As part of the instruction, IDRE will oversee the ongoing refurbishment, leasing and tenant engagement on the estate, with a particular focus on enhancing tenant offerings, improving energy efficiency and increasing asset value for their client.

Ian Murray, Head of Asset Management at IDRE, said: “This instruction on one of the North West’s prime industrial estates allows us to provide tenants with high quality, fully refurbished, energy-efficient accommodation.

“The estate’s excellent transport links into Manchester and Leeds further enhance its attractiveness, making it an ideal choice for a range of industrial tenants.”

The estate currently has three available units, which have been fully refurbished and are ready for immediate occupation.

Two of the units, each measuring approximately 6,000 sq ft, can be combined to create a 12,000 sq ft space.

Additionally, Electron is an 83,000 sq ft unit which benefits from a large power supply with the option to extend the building to 108,000 sq ft, offering tenants significant flexibility to scale their operations.

Jonathan Brown, Head of Investment at IDRE, said: “We’re really happy to be involved with Stakehill on behalf of Triton Property Fund.

“The location speaks for itself and, unusually, we have vacant units on site, which we’re keen to use as an opportunity to enhance the assets and bring them up to the highest standard, which we believe will not only attract high quality tenants but also drive increased cash flows for our client.”
