Restaurant chain makes its Liverpool debut with latest opening at city centre complex

Popular chicken wing restaurant, Wingstop UK, has confirmed a Liverpool opening this spring, the latest site in its expansion which saw the chain open 18 new locations in the UK last year.
Wingstop will take a 3,000 sq ft unit in Lord Street in the Liverpool One shopping complex.
It will provide more than 50 covers, serving the chain’s range of wings, tenders, burgers, and sides, all hand sauced-and-tossed in a choice of 10 flavours.
Rob Deacon, Asset Management Director at Liverpool One, said: “Having celebrated a phenomenal festive period, we are now looking ahead to the year of firsts that will be 2025.
“Wingstop’s city debut is a great example of the sustained demand among leading brands to share in Liverpool One’s continued success.”
Chris Sherriff, CEO at Wingstop UK, said: “Wingstop UK has expanded significantly over the last year, and our new Liverpool One restaurant will be a crucial continuation of that growth.
“We’re excited to bring our iconic wing flavours to a new city, and with its leading mix of F&B (food and beverage) operators, Liverpool One is the perfect home.”
In what will be Liverpool One’s biggest year for openings since it launched in 2008, Wingstop UK will join Sephora, TFG London and Uniqlo among many others throughout the year, with the new additions playing a key role in continuing to drive Liverpool One’s out-performance, it said.
