Glenbrook disposes of Grade II-listed Victorian Liverpool office complex

One Temple Square

Glenbrook has successfully completed the sale of One Temple Square in Liverpool to a private investor, or an undisclosed sum.

The property is an impressive Grade II-listed Victorian building, originally constructed in 1864-65 and designed by Sir James Picton, a renowned English antiquary and architect known for his contributions to Liverpool’s public life, particularly in establishing public libraries.

Situated in the heart of Liverpool’s Central Business District, the building comprises 18,761 sq ft and features a restaurant and dentist on the lower ground floor, with modern, well-refurbished office accommodation on the upper levels.

Solomon Halpern, at Manchester-based Glenbrook Investments, said: “One Temple Square is a well located, mixed-use asset with a strong occupier appeal.

“As a Grade II-listed building, it combines historic character with contemporary office accommodation, making it an attractive proposition for local businesses.

“This sale aligns with our investment strategy, and we are pleased to have completed a successful transaction with the buyer.”

Glenbrook Investments was advised by Cushman & Wakefield and Brabners. The buyer was advised by CBRE and Hill Dickinson.
