Priority Sites secures new tenants in Cockermouth

DEVELOPER Priority Sites has secured new tenants at its Derwent Mills commercial park in Cockermouth.

The Bitter End Brewery has taken 5,400 sq ft on a five-year lease which will enable it to expand sales to pubs and restaurants across the region.

Cumbrian Contracts Bottling Company, previously based in Workington, has taken 3,900 sq ft on a three-year lease with an option to buy.

Priority Sites has also let two large units on a short-term basis to building firms carrying out restoration work following last year’s floods.

Phil Haslam, senior development manager for Priority Sites said: “We’re delighted that several local companies have chosen to locate here, supporting local employment opportunities and each other, which is essential for the town’s prosperity.

“We always strive to provide well thought out, attractive looking premises that will meet the local market’s requirements, and this is working well at Derwent Mills.”
