Aintree leases space for Christmas events

AINTREE Racecourse has completed a deal to lease around 40,000 sq ft of exhibition space at the course in December to a firm which offers Christmas Party nights.

The letting throughout December has been agreed with events company Best Parties Ever.

Debbie Slee, conference and events manager at Aintree Racecourse, said: “We’re really pleased to have negotiated the letting agreement with Best Parties Ever and there is a potential that this could be a longer term contract, with the firm letting our main exhibition space, the Equestrian Centre, in December, 2012 and 2013 as well.”

Best Parties Ever plans to offer a Midnight in Monte Carlo-themed event offering a five course mea, live bands, a champagne bar, showgirl cabaret and a dodgem car circuit.

The events will be held in the racecourse’s Equestrian Centre, which is one of the recent additions to the course following a £35 million redevelopment in 2007.
