Top Gear extends branch network
TOP Gear Recruitment, which specialises in providing staff to the logistics sector, is to create ten new jobs opening two new offices at Stoke-on-Trent and at Peterlee, near Sunderland.
The Manchester-based company said that the offices, which are its first outside the North West, would support its £3m exclusive contract with New Look, which has a distribution depot at Newcastle-under-Lyme, and with Walkers Snack Foods.
Operations director James Mallick, operations director at Top Gear Recruitment, said: “Our expansion is going from strength to strength. Our newest branch will allow us to serve more of the UK than ever before and we’re looking forward to forging new relationships with businesses in the local areas.
“The offices will allow us to grow our client base significantly, while also creating valuable jobs. We’re excited to be progressing so fast as a company!”
Top Gear Recruitment was founded by Richard Burford in 1999. The company’s last filed accounts for 2009 show a pre-tax profit of £516,000 on sales of £21.6m.
