Winning Pitch moves into profit

WINNING Pitch, which helps entrepreneurs and small companies to develop their businesses, has seen its own fortunes improve.

The company more than doubled turnover in the year to September and moved into profit.

The Manchester-based business saw turnover rise from £1.3m to £3m while pre-tax profits came in at £66,253, up from a £243,490 loss last time.

It said its £7.1m three-year contract with the NWDA regional development authority were delivering results ahead of target and it is continuing to secure other public sector contracts.

It is now working with Oldham Council, Lancashire County Developments, Welsh Assembly Government and Scottish Enterprise.

Chairman John Leach said: “It has been a great year for Winning Pitch, our increase in both turnover and profit was ahead of budget. This is down to a magnificent team effort and concentration on delivering innovative services that deliver transformational change to both our public and private sector clients.

“It has always been Winning Pitch’s intention to shake up the business coaching market by focusing on creativity and producing results. We are extremely excited by the future prospects and our robust order book provides us with a great platform to build a sustainable future.”
