CityBlock opens student scheme in Leicester

LANCASTER property company CityBlock has just opened a second student accommodation block in Leicester.

The building was designed by Manchester-based SSHarc architects and built by Lancaster-based Askam Construction. It is close to Leicester’s De Montfort University.

It contains 76 en-suite rooms in an open plan, secure environment with fully fitted kitchens and communal areas. It was built on the site of a redundant factory.
CityBlock founder Trevor Bargh said: “It is good to see the Lancaster ‘home grown’ CityBlock brand reaching other parts of the UK.”
