Stretford Mall in receivership
THE Stretford Mall shopping centre in Trafford has gone into receivership.
Jones Lang Lasalle has been appointed as Law of Property Act (LPA) receivers for the mall, which is owned by Stretford Limited Partnership.
Previously known as the Stretford Arndale the mall is home to discount retailers including Poundland, Quality Save, Wilkinson, T J Hughes, as well as budget clothing retailers Bon Marche and Peacocks.
It has suffered as some retail occupiers have entered administration and struggled to find new tenants.
