Irwin Mitchell toast pubs role

LAW firm Irwin Mitchell’s Manchester office is toasting an appointment to carry out property litigation work for Scottish & Newcastle Pub Company – the pub division of Heineken UK.
The firm’s Quay Street-based commercial litigation team will act for the pubs business across England and Wales on dispute resolution work and landlord and tenant practice and procedures.
Julien Luke, commercial litigation partner said: “This is a significant win for the Manchester office and once again highlights the ability within Irwin Mitchell’s commercial litigation team to attract and handle complex legal briefs for large, internationally recognised organisations.”

Heineken UK was formed in 2008 when Heineken’s parent company bought the UK business of Scottish & Newcastle.The organisation employs around 2,300 people and manages around 1,300 pubs.
