Outsourcery moves HQ to Manchester

OUTSOURCERY is relocating its headquarters to Manchester city centre from Bury following the sale of its mobile operations to Daisy Communications earlier this year.

The company, which offers cloud computing services for SMEs, is to open a new 7,500 sq ft office one the third floor at One The Avenue, the retail and office building at Allied London’s Spinningfields development which is already occupied by law firm McGrigors. It has taken a ten-year lease on the space.

The new office will house around 100 employees and will be fitted out by Salford Quays-based TSK.

It said that its design “includes a variety of working areas to support the desk-based customer support teams, hot desking for remote workers and a dedicated client area and private meeting booths”.

The company’s HR, marketing, product and finance teams will also be based in the building.

Outsourcery is owned by Piers Linney and Simon Newton.  Mr Linney said: “The move to Manchester, and in particular to Spinningfields, brings our northern operations into the heart of the NW business community.

Michael Ingall, chief executive of developer Allied London said: “1 The Avenue is one of Manchester’s landmark buildings, offering exceptional office space at one of Spinningfields’ principal gateways.

“Our existing occupiers at 1 The Avenue; Armani, Australasia and McGrigors are demonstrative of the quality of tenant we are attracting. Outsourcery is no exception.”

The building’s owner, IM Properties, was represented by Manchester-based conslutants OBI Property.
