Davenham appoints ex-company secretary to board

DAVENHAM  Group, the Manchester-based asset finance firm which has announced its intention to appoint administrators, has appointed ex-company secretary Dawn Smethurst to its board.

The company said the appointment was being made “in connection with the administration process” that is expected to take place next week.
Smethurst joined the company when it was formed in 1991 and was company secretary until April 2009.

She is also a director of Davenham Group Trustees and holds shares in the group.
