Assura starts work on £3.5m Wirral surgery

HEALTHCARE property specialist Assura Group has started on site on a £3.5m, 14,000 sq ft  GP’s surgery at Bebington, Wirral.

Warrington-based Assura said the project will be delivered in partnership with LSP Developments. It is expected to complete in the summer of 2012.

The centre is being built for Kings Lane Medical Practice and contains extra consulting rooms, an integrated pharmacy and rooms where minor surgery can be performed.

It has been designed to incorporate substantial expansion space, which would potentially allow a second practice to relocate to the building in the future.
Liverpool-based contractor WH Snow is building the centre, which has been designed by architects West Hart Partnership.
