Appointments: new IT head for Myprotein; Staff join BCL Legal and more…

SPORTS supplements firm Myprotein has appointed Andy Haigh in a new role as head of IT and E-Commerce.
Mr Haigh, 44, was product manager at Moneysupermarket.com for six years. During that time he was responsible for building new channels and developing new web products and services.
Mr Haigh’s first task at Myprotein will be to set up a robust and scalable IT infrastructure that can meet the demands for growth and new projects. The move will further support the recent addition of head of operations Karl Jacobie, as the company prepares for accelerated future growth.
Oliver Cookson, founder and managing director of Manchester-based Myprotein, said: “Andy has a clear track record of working with fast-track businesses, so he’s well placed for a role at Myprotein. His e-commerce and development management experience will play a major role in our continued growth.”
