Roof falls in on Golborne contractror

A GOLBORNE-based company which specialises in the installating of industrial roofing has ceased trading after calling in administrators.

Falcon Industrial Roofing was set up in 2009 and was owned by a father and son team who were both named Eddie Hilditch. Its website quoted a turnover of £5m.
Administrators from the Manchester office of KPMG were appointed on October 7 after the company faced a winding-up petition from a creditor. All six of its employees have been made redundant.

Joint administrator Paul Flint said: “We are currently seeking the sale of Falcon Industrial Roofing’s assets and have instructed agents to review the contracts with a view to collecting the outstanding monies due to the company.”
