New look and London move for Berg

MANCHESTER law firm Berg has opened a London office and revealed a fresh new brand.

Founded in 1980 by corporate lawyer, Reuben Berg, the Peter Street-based firm now has 10 partners and a further 52 employees across its corporate, employment, litigation, property, intellectual property, family and commercial practices.

It recently acted on the sale to a London-based investor of Cheshire based Venture Photography. The new office is at 66 Grosvenor Street in the West End – near Oxford Circus.

Alison Loveday, managing partner at Berg, said: “Our arrival in London marks the start of a new era at Berg – matched by the rebranding which brings a fresh face to the firm. While the business strives to achieve its ambitions, we still stick by our core principles of pushing the boundaries, being incisive and delivering results through innovation and creativity.”

“Launching an office in the Capital offers us the opportunity to access some of the most exciting and high growth corporates in the country. Businesses and individuals are looking for the most competitively-priced legal advice while maintaining exceptional standards – we feel that we can bring this to the London market.

“The response from our existing clients and contacts in London has been fantastic. Their support has been instrumental in the opening of the office.”
