Pro.Manchester’s membership grows by 25%

PROFESSIONAL services organisation Pro.Manchester’s membership is up 25% on last year, following the introduction of a range of new initiatives.

It now has more than 280 corporate members – with more than 3,000 staff – following the introduction of a new range of initiatives.

New members include Begbies Traynor Group, BVCA, Coutts, GVA, Grimley, Morgan Stanley and Zeus Private Equity

The rise in membership comes off the back of a number of headline initiatives launched by chief executive John Ashcroft.

Mr Ashcroft said: “We wanted to target core groups within our membership and ensure we were delivering clear and focused initiatives for areas of growth within the financial and professional services sector.

“Bringing business and growth to our members is a key objective and our 2010 programme is testament to our determination to succeed.”

New initiatives run by Pro.Manchester include the gateway group, Manchester private equity group (MPEG), wealth and asset management group (WAM) and its digital and creative group.
