M&S extends Preston store

AROUND 50 new jobs have been created following the extension of Marks & Spencer’s new Preston Deepdale store.

The store has been extended in size by around a third, with a new foodstore added and an in-store bakery.

Extra fashion space has also been included in the 11,500 sq ft extension, and an 88-seat cafe.

Store manager Elaine Courland said: “The last few months have been an exciting time for us and we can’t wait to let shoppers see our brand new extension.

“The Food Hall has already been a huge hit and we look forward to welcoming customers along to the store.”
