Needham to speak at Innovation Summit

MANCHESTER Airport has announced that Sir Richard Needham will be the keynote speaker at its first ever innovation summit, to be held this summer.

Former trade minister Sir Richard Needham is known as Sir James Dyson’s right hand man and is currently Dyson’s independent director for international and commercial affairs.

He will be joined in panel discussions by speakers including Juergen Maier, managing director of Siemens UK industry sector and Dr. Moneeb Awan, president of the Greater Manchester Chamber.

The summit, to be held in June at the Airport’s Concorde Centre, will also include a series of exhibition stands from companies showcasing the latest advancements in innovative technologies, including; Siemens, Pixel Inspirations, Rapiscan, National Air Traffic Services and Penbay Solutions.

During the event, the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce will announce the result of its first ever Innovation Award.
