Fresh intends to add 22 new staff

CREATIVE communications firm Fresh Group has moved into its new £2.2m purpose-built headquarters as it looks to increase its staff numbers by 22.

The Cheadle-based company has transformed 2,750 sq ft of space at its offices into a wide range of new facilities.

These include: a £400,000 voice-over studio, a modern and open plan studio, two meeting rooms and an innovative ‘bubble room’ – a circular, glass-walled pod for the team to brainstorm its latest campaigns.

It currently employs 67 employees and its last turnover was £8.25m.

Nick Porter, managing director at Fresh, said: “Over the last 12 months, we’ve constantly re-written our business targets, far exceeding expectations.

“With a client portfolio featuring some of the biggest brands in the world, we felt the time was right to capitalise on unused office space to strengthen our services, expertise and in-house facilities.

“The move is a significant stride forward for Fresh, making us the only company in our sector to offer such a diverse range of services under one roof.”

Fresh moved into its state-of-the-art headquarters in September 2007.

The offices can now accommodate up to 90 members of staff and house each of its eight stand-alone divisions.

These are: events, design, video, interactive, rewards, broadcast, create and advertising.

Fresh’s clients include: McDonald’s, M and S, Avon and New Look.

Julie Besbrode, co-founding director, said: “We’re firmly committed to investing in every aspect of the business to ensure that we continue to deliver an innovative and cutting-edge service.

“The recent expansion will play a significant part in helping to meet those aims both to new and existing clients.”
