Daisy’s deal with Yorkshire’s Kcom

DAISY Group – the deal-hungry telecoms provider to small and medium-sized businesses – has signed a deal with Yorkshire-based Kcom.

AIM-listed Daisy, which is based in the Lancashire town of Nelson, will now have its inbound call handling and routing services handled via Myriad, Kcom’s advanced call routing and voice response platform.

Hull-based Kcom has seen its pre-tax profits climb 64% to £29.4m over the past year as it cashes in on strategic partnerships as well as core strengths.

Earlier this week, Daisy’s chief executive Matthew Riley was named Dealmaker of the Year at the annual M&A Awards.

Mr Riley completed a £204m reverse takeover of Freedom 4 and flotation on the Alternative Investment Market in July last year.

Daisy subsequently completed six acquisitions over the last financial year, taking the total number of deals done by his team to 30.
