DKNY Menswear completes Avenue line-up

THE Avenue, the upmarket retail corridor in the Spinningfields area of Manchester city centre, is now fully open for business.
The opening of DKNY Menswear means all 13 high-end fashion stores are trading.
The Avenue opened to the public last September, with Emporio Armani, LK Bennett, Nicky Clarke and Oliver Sweeney the first to open.
All Saints, Brooks Brothers, Phillip Stoner, Flannels and Mulberry followed in the next wave, in the run up to Christmas 2010.
This year, Ted Baker Pashion and Kurt Geiger joined the mix, with DKNY Menswear recently opening.
The Oast House, another recent addition to Spinningfields, will host to a Pop Up village on its event space in the run-up to Christmas, with several retailers already confirmed to take space.
Mike Ingall, chief executive of Allied London, the developer behind Spinningfields, said; “We’ve got a fantastic selection of stores on The Avenue and DKNY Menswear completes the set.
“With all the stores now open, a Pop Up Village due to open its doors in the next few weeks and Australasia and the Oast House sitting at each end of The Avenue, we’re envisaging a very busy time of it in the run-up to Christmas.”
