Singapore Airlines makes Manchester service daily

SINGAPORE Airlines has announced its intention to increase its service from Manchester Airport.
The carrier will offer daily flights to Munich and Singapore from September 1.
This will be an increase from the existing five-times-weekly Manchester-Munich-Singapore service.
The airline launched the new Manchester-Munich route using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on March 29 this year.
Singapore Airlines general manager for the UK and Ireland, Joey Seow, said: “We are thrilled to offer our customers in the North West greater choice and convenience with these additional frequencies to Munich and Singapore.
“The response we continue to have for our new products on this route is encouraging and with the continued support of our service partners at Manchester Airport, we look forward to better serving Northern England.”
Andrew Harrison, Manchester Airport’s commercial director, said: “We are delighted that Singapore Airlines has decided to go back to a daily service.
“This is another great example of further long haul growth from Manchester and it shows how Singapore Airlines and our other carriers are investing in this region and our passengers.”
