Liverpool inks deal with printer maker

LIVERPOOL Football Club has agreed a new sponsorship deal with Japanese print and document management firm Konica Minolta.

Konica Minolta will use the deal to boost its profile as a provider of print and document management services to SMES, the public sector and the general commercial sector. The firm will also provide print and document management services to the club.

LFC managing director Ian Ayre said: “We are excited about working with a brand that has such an innovative and fresh approach to business solutions and the club will provide Konica Minolta with significant brand visibility and access to our supporter base.”

Neil Dingley, Konica Minolta’s operations director, said: “Our partnership with LFC supports our corporate vision of developing long-term partnerships that optimise mutual profitability as we will be able to improve efficiencies and reduce operational costs associated with managing print and document management for the club.

“At the same time, we will be able to raise our own profile in the B2B arena as the market leader.”
