Eric Wright launches public sector division

THE Eric Wright Group has announced that it has launched a new partnerships division which will focus on public sector clients.
The group, based at Bamber Bridge, near Preston, said it would focus on securing long-term partnership deals with education and health organisations in the North West.
The division will offer advice to public sector firms on estates, property and facilities management, including asset utilisation and realisation, site development, strategic planning and energy management. It will be headed by
Richard Turpin (left), who is a group board director and MD of its facilities management arm. He will be supported by project director Neil Ward and health and social care director Christine Winstanley.
Eric Wright Group’s last filed accounts for 2010 show that it made a pre-tax profit of £3.9m on turnover of £124m.
Its construction division has just announced that it has started work on three new projects worth a combined £13m. These include a new £6m, 48,500 sq ft Tesco eco store at Padiham, near Blackburn, the £4.5m second phase of Ask Developments’ Eden Square scheme at Urmston in Greater Manchester and a £2.3m health centre at Buckshaw Village in Chorley.
