Seminar for firms seeking ‘greener’ credentials

BUSINESSES across the North West considering generating their own renewable energy are being invited to a free seminar.

Envirolink North West is staging the event called ‘Help with Renewables’ at designers BDP’s offices in Ducie Street, in Manchester, on Tuesday, July 6.

The event aims to shed insight into viable business opportunities for companies to generate their own energy from wind, waste or micro-renewables.

It will demonstrate to companies: what support it can offer; renewable energy technologies; finance and funding; achieving planning consent; connecting to the electricity network; linking to regional suppliers; and which companies are operating in the market place.

Envirolink North West is a not-for-profit organisation funded by the North West Regional Development Agency, the European Regional Development Fund and
the region’s local authorities.
