Apex recruits in Preston

A HEALTHCARE recruitment business in Preston is take on 50 nurses and carers.

Apex Health and Social Care said it is expanding after winning a series of new contracts.

It supplies care staff to Central Lancashire Primary Care Trust and Lancashire Teaching Hospital as well as local authorities.

Paul Fry, director for Manchester-based Apex’s northern region, said: “We are always looking to recruit trained nurses, auxiliary, support workers and carers.

“With the several new contracts in the pipeline, we need to supply even more nurses and care staff to hospitals across Lancashire.”
