Appointments: Clayton joins Taylors: Himor; Cushman & Wakefield & more

LAW firm Taylors, the Manchester and Lancashire-based commercial law firm, has appointed Will Clayton as a partner and head of employment.
Mr Taylor, formerly a partner at the Manchester office of Hill Dickinson, has more than 15 years’ experience in employment practice.
Operating mostly from the firm’s office at Mosley Street, Manchester, he been hired to strengthen and develop Taylor’s employment team.
He said: “This is a great time to join Taylors. Our specialist teams are all growing and the employment team is helping drive that growth across the firm.
“The majority of my new colleagues have large firm and big city experience. This expertise translates very effectively to our clients, whether in the SME bracket or at the £100m-plus turnover level.

PROPERTY investment company HIMOR Group has appointed the head of Colliers’ Manchester office Andrew McFarlane as a non-executive director.
Andrew McFarlane will advise HIMOR on its ongoing investment strategy.

CUSHMAN & Wakefield has made two new appointments at its Manchester office. Tom Hesp has joined the firm’s out-of-town retail team as a graduate surveyor working across the North, Midlands and Scotland.
Meanwhile, Philip Haddleton has joined the firm’s Manchester industrial team – also as a graduate surveyor. He will be working alongside partner Jason Print, who heads the North West industrial department.

CHESHIRE-based executive search consultancy Warren Partners has opened an Edinburgh office and appointed director Charles McGarry to head its presence in Scotland.
McGarry, a fluent Spanish speaker who has lived in Argentina and Canada says: “After 23 years at my previous consultancy, it was a major decision to move to Warren Partners.
