TheBusinessDesk.com launches International Trade channel

COVERAGE of international business success and export stories is moving up a gear from today with the launch of a new channel on TheBusinessDesk.com.
With domestic economic growth faltering, it is clear that companies with growth aspirations will need to look at markets further afield, and our enhanced coverage will enable us to reflect this.
The channel will include success stories from the region, news of forthcoming trade missions, visits from potential trade partners, information on ‘hot sectors’ and expert insight into the global economy.
Last month we launched a new monthly International Trade email, and we’ve also created an Exporter category in our annual Business Masters awards.
Recent figures from UK Trade and Investment show that exporters contribute towards 60% of the UK’s productivity growth, and that they are generally more productive, more profitable and more resilient than firms who rely solely on domestic customers.
