Exchange Chambers expands to Leeds

EXCHANGE Chambers, based in Manchester and Liverpool, has expanded into Yorkshire with an office in Leeds.

The barristers’ set has 120 members including 16 QCs and recently announced a record £21.7m turnover for the last financial year.

Originally based in Liverpool, Exchange Chambers opened in Manchester in 2002 and now has a turnover there of more than £10m.

Director of chambers Tom Handley said: “We are aiming for similar growth in Leeds. Experience tells us that if we attract outstanding barristers and provide an outstanding service, the work will follow.

“We have a very progressive approach and support all our barristers by employing the very best clerks, investing in the latest technology and supporting their practices in every way possible.

“Expanding into Leeds is an exciting development. It gives us a presence in the North’s three major legal centres and creates a real powerhouse of a set.”
