Pinsents scores with Man Utd

PINSENT Masons has been reappointed to a panel of law firms used by Manchester United.

The club recently invited all of the law firms on its panel to re-tender, and Pinsent Masons retained its role as the club’s advisor on data protection and employment issues for a further two years. Brabners Chaffe Street is also understood to have retained its role advising the club on certain aspects of commercial law and on dispute resolution.

Pinsent Masons’ relationship partner, Rosemary Jay, said the firm was “delighted to have been reappointed to Manchester United’s panel”.

“The Pinsent Masons team has worked hard to build a relationship with Manchester United since we were first appointed by them. We believe we have built a good rapport with them, possibly helped by the fact that the club has many staunch fans among our staff.

“We are excited at the opportunities which will arise now we can extend the scope of the relationship. Pinsent Masons are in a great position to advise Manchester United on a broader range of work and we look forward to working with them in the future.”
