CVS takes on 50 staff in three months

OLD Trafford-based business rates specialists, CVS, has announced the hire of 53 new staff since November 2011.

The company, which offers to help local firms reduce business rates, said that it has grown numbers at its Manchester base by hiring five chartered surveyors, three marketing specialists and 14 business development staff. Positions have also been filled at the company’s Bristol and London offices.  

The firm now employs around 224 staff.

Chief executive Mark Rigby said: “The current financial climate has meant that many businesses have had to run very economically to survive. As CVS works to reduce the costs associated with running a business, we have seen a much higher demand for our expert services, allowing us to expand.”
