New HQ for call centre operator

A DIRECT marketing firm has spent £100,000 relocating from Leyland to a new 5,000 sq ft headquarters at Matrix Park in Chorley.

The company, 3d Direct Marketing, offers direct marketing, data cleansing and call centre services and said the move was undertaken to allow it to double the number of call centre seats – from 30 to 60.

Managing director Ian Smith, who set up the business in 2004, said that the firm had outgrown its previous premises but now planned to increase staff numbers by around 50 per cent over the next year. New telephony and software systems have also been installed to improve call handling.

3d Marketing’s clients include high-profile names such as The Health and Safety Executive, ETS Telematics and the Equality and Human Rights Commission. Smith said that its former premises in Leyland will be retained as a training centre.

“I am extremely pleased with the progress the company has been making,” he said. “We are delighted to make our new base in an environment that really matches the ambition of the company. The next 12 months promise to be an exciting time.”

Matrix Park and the adjoining Buckshaw Village development is a joint venture beetween housebuilder Redrow and Barratt Commercial.
