Printing.com reports stable trading

PRINTING.com, the AIM company said trading over the last four months has continued to be tough in this country while its Belgium and Netherlands busineses have made progress.

The Manchester-based group said that while the UK is “challenging”, it is also stable and full-year results for the year to the end of March are expected to meet market forecasts.

It said it had embarked on a series of regional roadshows in January where it had met the vast majority of its UK and Irish franchisees to communicate new products and technologies to them.

The result of such consultation has prompted the group to offer some franchisees a new ‘white label’ format.

Printing.com said: “The new initiatives were generally well received… However, aspects of these new initiatives may not suit the specific strategy of some existing franchisees and so an alternative ‘white label’ format will be offered and marketed as an alternative.

“The directors anticipate that these new initiatives will enable the Company to generate additional revenues from the ‘micro business’ segment of the market.”
