Savills appointed to Houndshill centre

SAVILLS has been appointed as the new manager of Blackpool’s Houndshill Shopping Centre.

The centre, which was bought by Catalyst Capital and Blackstone for £85m last year, contains 300,000 sq ft of floorspace. It is anchored by a new 100,000 sq ft Debenhams, and features national and international retailers including Next, Disney Store, River Island, H&M Hennes and Primark.

The scheme, which is next to Blackpool Tower, also features the main town centre multi-storey car park for Blackpool with 750 spaces.
