All Star Lanes bowled over by Great Northern

ALL Star Lanes, a London-based company offering “boutique” ten-pin bowling with private lanes, restaurants and cocktail bars, is to open at Manchester’s Great Northern Warehouse.
The company has taken 19,500 sq ft of the 399,000 sq ft Grade II*-listed Great Northern complex owned by Capital & Regional on a 25-year lease.
It currently operates four similar outlets in London, but this will be its first outside of the capital it will contain eight main lanes and two private lanes, alongside the restaurant and cocktail bar designed around a retro US theme.
Capital & Regional described the letting as a “significant” deal for Great Northern Warehouse, which currently contains the Manchester235 casino, an AMC cinemas multiplex and a 388-space car park.
Sian Bowen, retail asset manager at Capital & Regional, said: “As this letting is All Star Lanes first venture outside of London, the deal is a significant coup for Capital & Regional and we are confident it will prove popular with our regular visitors. The brand will sit well in our current tenant line-up and we look forward to welcoming All Star Lanes to the city.”
All Star Lanes founder Mark Von Westenholz said: “We’re very excited to be opening in Manchester this summer. After six successful years we feel the time is right to expand beyond London and there was never any question it wouldn’t be Manchester first.”
