Soccerex generates record numbers

SOCCEREX has said that its third European Forum which was held on March 28-29 achieved record numbers, with more than 1,600 delegates attending the event – a 15% increase on 2011.
The company, which is owned and run by Duncan Revie, announced at the event that Manchester would be the home for its much larger Global Convention from 2014-2017. It also said that 50% of the exhibition space for its 2013 European Forum in Manchester had already been pre-sold at this year’s event.
Mr Revie said: “I’m very proud to see the European Forum continue to grow beyond our expectations. The speakers this year were excellent, the exhibition hall was bustling and as always a lot of business was done. It was an exceptional event and once again shows why Soccerex leads the way in football business.”
Speakers at the event included UEFA general secretary Gianni Infantino, FAO ambassador and football development executive of Manchester City Patrick Viera and German Football Association (DFB) marketing director Denni Strich.
