Provexis powers up with SiS brand relaunch

PROVEXIS, the life-science business developing food and sports nutrition technologies, is relaunching its Science in Sport brand.

As well as a new design – Science in Sport which is based in Lancashire – is refocusing on key growth products. A new website (www.scienceinsport.com) has gone live and will be further enhanced with new e-commerce and social media functionality later tjis year.

Provexis also revealed that a new product – SiS GO Plus Nitrates – had seen “positive performance results in a small-scale trial” with a GB Olympic team.

The company said in a statement: “In recent weeks the product has been used by an elite professional cycling team, and feedback has been very positive. Further clinical trial work and product performance development for this product will continue throughout the year.”

Chief executive Stephen Moon said: “”We were pleased to finish the last financial year with the SiS brand in strong growth. The brand relaunch and significantly increased marketing support should see this momentum continue.

“The first of our new product launches for the year, as well as supporting sales growth, will reinforce our position as the leading provider of sports nutrition to endurance athletes.”
