Play Factore hoping to hit new heights

PLAY Factore – a new indoor play centre near the M60 by the Trafford Centre, is now open for business.
The £2m attraction, which opened last month. has been built under the indoor ski centre Chill Factore, and has been part-funded by HSBC, which has lent £550,000 under the Enterprise Finance Guarantee scheme
Play Factore is the UK’s largest indoor play area for children up to the age of 12 and has the tallest indoor play frame in the world at over15 metres high with a 40m long slide.
Launched by the Liverpool-based operators of the Yellow Sub children’s play centre, Play Factore hopes to become a major familyt attraction.
Next month a number of new features will open on-site including a laser tag arena, games arcade and an aerial zip wire set to open.
Fawad Munir, director of Factore, said: “We’re delighted that Play Factore is now open, and we’re looking forward to putting ourselves on the map of North West family attractions and exploring enquiries we’ve already had about running corporate entertainment events.
“We were attracted to the HSBC team in Liverpool because the bank was able to move quickly and flexibly to meet our funding needs, and showed an appreciation not just of our experience in this area but of the significant £1m funding the management team has put into the business.”
