Think Money on the move
FAST growing financial services group Think Money is on the move to a new purpose-built base at Trafford Park.
The private-equity-owned company, currently based at Salford Quays, has agreed a 150,000 sq ft pre-let with St Modwen to move into a new purpose-built office campus on Mosley Road, Trafford Park.
Initially three buildings will be constructed on the 10-acre site for occupation totalling 125,000 sq ft. It is expected the company will relocate late next year.
Most recent accounts, for the year to January 2011, reveal that the loans, mortgage and debt advisory firm increased staff numbers by 160 to 857 during that year.
Simon Kay, finance director from Think Money, said: “Think Money is currently split over a number of buildings in the Salford Quays area.
“This new development will enable us to bring all our staff together on one purpose built site. It will also give us room to accommodate our future growth plans.”
Marshall has been appointed as the contractor to design and build the scheme. Chris Mulcahy and Richard Pearse from Jones Lang LaSalle’s Manchester office represented Think Money.
