Colliers selling Chorlton Conservative Club

COLLIERS International has been appointed to sell the Chorlton Conservative Club .

Acting acting on the instruction of receivers at the Nottingham office of accountancy firm Mazars are inviting offers for the freehold of the 4,800 sq ft building in Wilbraham Road.

The firm believes the building could be an attractiev opportunity to a restaurant/ leisure sector operator.

The red-brick building features a clock tower, a substantial extension to the rear and parking for about 30 vehicles.

Jeff Wraith, senior surveyor, licensed and leisure at the Manchester office of Colliers International, said the premises were suitable for alternative use to that of a social club and were being marketed to general developers and in particular, restaurant operators.

He said: “Chorlton Conservative Club represents an excellent opportunity for an operator to create a high quality restaurant/pub to complement existing and popular food and drink outlets in this increasingly fashionable and affluent suburb of Manchester.”
