Software firm lands maiden Malaysia deal

IT software specialist Certero has sealed an international link up which will see it supplying the Malaysian government.
The Warrington based company, with offices in Australia, has forged a partnership with Malaysian based IT reseller IshanTech.
This means its PC power management product, PowerStudio, will be supplied to the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water in Kuala Lumpur.
Certero managing director John Lunt said the contract, which is company’s first in Malaysia, should act as a springboard to generate further sales in the Far East.
“This deal demonstrates our global reach and ambition to drive growth in the international market.
“There is a huge market for our products and rising electricity prices in the APAC (Asia-Pacific) region continue to generate interest in our PC power management solutions.”
The partnership was driven by Certero’s Sydney office, which opened last year. The PowerStudio product aims to help organisations slash energy bills and reduce CO2 emissions by enabling pomputers to be switched off remotely.
