Deadline approaches for IoD awards

THE deadline for entries for the IoD North West Director of the Year is approaching amid strong levels of interest in the awards.
 
The Institute of Directors North West says it has already received nearly 200 entries, a new record, and individuals have until Thursday, May 17 to enter. Regional winners will also be entered into the IoD national awards in London.
 
This year’s judging panel includes Professor Cary Cooper CBE, Pro Vice Chancellor and leadign business psychologist at Lancaster University; Dr Cathy Garner, pincipal at Knowledge Economy Innovations; reiging director of the year Peter Barton, founder and CEO of Forge Europa; Andrew Carroll,  director of Carroll Strategies; and Gary Houghton, corporate finance partner at Baker Tilly.
 
IoD North West Chair, Tony Attard, who will lead the judging panel said: “The Director of the Year Awards have been a huge success for the past eight years and this year’s event is already proving to be an even bigger success with more entries than ever before.

“There is a lot of great work being done to boost business in the North West, so directors should take this chance to demonstrate and celebrate their success.”
