Turnover edges up at Cobbetts

LAW firm Cobbetts has revealed a slight increase in fee income for the year to April 30 – up by 1% to £45.2m (£44.5m). However, it declined to give a profit figure.

The Manchester-based practice, which also has offices in Leeds, Birmingham and London, said that its restructuring services and litigation arms were its busiest departments, reporting 7% and 8% growth respectively.

Senior partner Stephen Benson said: “We’re pleased with our results, operating in what continues to be a challenging economic environment.

“These results provide the platform for consolidating our position as a regional leader and building on our successful and growing international work.”
