Fresh pizza firm hungry for growth

A SMALL North West food retailer of fresh pizza and baguette is tucking in to plans to open more sites.

Go Pizza, which has four sites in high footfall locations – Liverpool John Lennon Airport, Manchester’s Arndale Centre the Meadowhall shopping centre near Sheffield and the Lakeside in Essex – has agreed a funding deal to open two more sites.

The new locations, in Liverpool and Manchester, are being finalised and will each create around a dozen jobs.

Go Pizza, which is being supported in its growth plans by Santander Corporate Banking,  focus on providing fresh ingredients and a fast service at an affordable price.

Customers choose from a base of either pizza or baguette and can then select the toppings they want.

Go Pizza founder and director James Hoole, 33, said: “We are happy to be following our growth ambitions and finalising on our two new sites. At Go Pizza, we’re passionate about serving good value, fast and fresh food to our customers and we’re confident that we can do this on a bigger scale.

“It’s comforting to know, that as we move forward, we have support from Santander.”

Ian Bateson, relationship director at Santander added: “Go Pizza is a strong business with a belief in sourcing local produce and supporting the local economy. I’m confident that they will continue to grow and I am pleased that Santander is supporting them.”
